And now, Verity is making the jump from page to screen.
The film adaptation is scheduled for 2 October 2026 in the UK, with Dakota Johnson as Lowen Ashleigh, Anne Hathaway as Verity Crawford and Josh Hartnett as Jeremy Crawford.
If you've read the book, you'll know there are plenty of questions surrounding what is true, what isn't, and who you can actually trust.
