A Study in Scarlet
The very first appearance of Sherlock Holmes and Dr. John Watson, A Study in Scarlet introduces readers to the brilliant detective’s methods and mind. Together, they investigate a baffling murder that leads from the streets of London to the deserts of Utah. A perfect beginning to the world’s most famous detective partnership.

The Sign of the Four
A tale of treasure, betrayal, and revenge, The Sign of the Four follows Holmes and Watson as they uncover a mystery involving a secret pact, stolen riches, and a shadowy figure from the past. This thrilling adventure also introduces Mary Morstan, who captures Watson’s heart.

The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes
This iconic collection of twelve short stories showcases Holmes at his cleverest. From A Scandal in Bohemia to The Adventure of the Speckled Band, each case reveals the detective’s genius for logic and observation. A cornerstone of detective fiction and a must-read for every mystery lover.

The Memoirs of Sherlock Holmes
Holmes faces some of his most dangerous and perplexing cases in The Memoirs of Sherlock Holmes, including “The Musgrave Ritual” and “The Final Problem,” where he confronts his greatest nemesis, Professor Moriarty. A gripping collection that marks a turning point in the Holmes saga.

The Hound of the Baskervilles
A chilling legend, a family curse, and a monstrous hound haunt the moors of Devonshire in The Hound of the Baskervilles. Holmes and Watson race to solve the mystery before it’s too late. Blending gothic atmosphere with razor-sharp deduction, this is one of Conan Doyle’s most beloved and spine-tingling tales.

The Return of Sherlock Holmes
After his presumed death at the Reichenbach Falls, Holmes makes a dramatic return in this celebrated collection. From The Adventure of the Empty House to The Adventure of the Six Napoleons, The Return of Sherlock Holmes reaffirms the detective’s enduring brilliance and the unbreakable bond with Watson.

The Valley of Fear
Holmes’s final full-length novel, The Valley of Fear, combines classic detective intrigue with a deep conspiracy involving secret societies and betrayal. As Holmes investigates a grisly murder in an English manor, a hidden story of loyalty and revenge slowly unfolds.

His Last Bow
Set against the backdrop of World War I, His Last Bow collects later cases from the twilight of Holmes’s career. The stories reveal a more reflective, patriotic side of the great detective — culminating in the title story, where Holmes emerges from retirement for one last vital mission.

The Case-Book of Sherlock Holmes
In The Case-Book of Sherlock Holmes, Conan Doyle presents the detective’s final adventures — darker, more complex, and deeply human. Featuring tales such as “The Adventure of the Sussex Vampire” and “The Adventure of the Retired Colourman,” this collection showcases Holmes’s enduring brilliance even as his career draws to a close.
